It's time to dust off the uniform and get ready
for another season of football. With that said the SFFOA has opened the registration process for the 2009 season. The registration
fee for this season will be $30.00, which now includes membership to USA Football's Officiating program. The program
includes the following benefits:
On-line
access to the C.O.E.P (Certified Officials Education Program)
On-line access to 4&5 mechanics including USA Football's instructional video
10% discount at Honig's Whistle Stop for your uniform purchases
The registration meeting has also been set for July 8th at South Miami High School at 7:30 PM. Members
are encouraged to attend to find out all the details regarding the leagues we service as well as the new contacts for the
upcoming season. Members are also encouraged to bring a
friend to join the ranks of officiating!
The beginner
officiating clinic dates have also been set, click on the meetings page for dates and times. Members are encouraged to attend,
as they will receive credit towards promotion. The cost is only $10.00 for 10 sessions!

USA Football Officiating School Complete!
On May 8th and 9th, several SFFOA members attended the USA Football Officiating School hosted by the
University of Miami. The attendees were given classroom instruction by top NCAA officials, and received on-field training
by working a live spring scrimmage.

members interested in receiving some of the quality instruction offered at the clinic, USA Football is offering the crew of

NEW OFFICIALS BEING SOUGHT FOR YOUTH FOOTBALL SEASON. As the demand for officiating services
increases so does the need for new officials. We can only consider offering our services to other leagues
if we have a good feel for the number of officials we will have registered. If you are interested in becoming an
official or are an official who has a friend interested in becoming an official send us an
