SFFOA Members Work Gulf Coast
Classic!
On Saturday August 1, 2009 SFFOA members Bob Morales, Jon "Duke" Brumer, Noel Rego, and Dongray "DJ"
Johnson travelled to Naples to offciate the first Gulf Coast Classic. The games featured the Naples Gators against the Dallas
Truth. The Gators were coached by former Gator great Fred McCrary and the Truth were coached by former Cowboys great Deion
Sanders.
SFFOA Member Works JWC!
SFFOA member Alex Barinaga travelled to Canton, OH to officiate the first Junior World
Championship. Selected as one of only eight officials from the United States, he officiated the first round game between Mexico
and Sweden, the semi-final thriller between Canada and Japan, and the Bronze Medal game between Mexico and Japan.

USA Football Officiating School Complete!
On May 8th and 9th, several SFFOA members attended the USA Football Officiating School hosted by the
University of Miami. The attendees were given classroom instruction by top NCAA officials, and received on-field training
by working a live spring scrimmage.

NEW OFFICIALS BEING SOUGHT FOR YOUTH FOOTBALL SEASON. As the demand for officiating services
increases so does the need for new officials. We can only consider offering our services to other leagues
if we have a good feel for the number of officials we will have registered. If you are interested in becoming an
official or are an official who has a friend interested in becoming an official send us an
